OCMS 5 Core Technology
"5 Core Technologies for Offshore Wind Construction Management"
Making hazardous offshore wind construction safe and predictable is our core objective. We support integrated control systems from wireless communication infrastructure to control room construction.
Intelligent Marine Traffic Control
A system that monitors the location of all vessels in the construction site in real-time and controls them through wireless communication.
1. Hybrid Vessel Tracking Algorithm
TechnologyMonitors work vessels and workers by fusing data from four sources: AIS, V-PASS, dedicated IoT GPS trackers, and CCTV in real-time.
AdvantageImplements safe control of the work area by using GPS in remote areas where AIS and V-PASS signals are not caught, and recording the trajectory of unidentified vessels entering the work area.
2. Dynamic Geofencing & Alert System
TechnologyCreates a 'virtual safety zone' in real-time not only in fixed areas but also around moving work vessels (Cable Laying Vessels, etc.).
AdvantageWhen another vessel approaches the work area or the safety radius of the work vessel, the control center immediately sends a warning to the captain of the vessel, fundamentally blocking offshore collision accidents.
3. SIMOPS Prediction Engine
TechnologyGrants work priority by analyzing the schedule and work area data of different processes such as turbine installation, cable laying, and foundation works.
AdvantageWhen reports are submitted in the system, automatic notifications are provided for the same date and area, allowing the construction manager to coordinate work and prevent waiting costs in advance.
Real-time Safety Alert System
A system that quickly notifies danger when a hazardous situation occurs within the construction site.
1. Real-time Safety Alert
TechnologyIn the event of a drowning or safety accident, an alarm is immediately transmitted to the control room via smart life jackets and beacon SOS buttons.
AdvantageEnsures the safety of all assets, including quick response in emergencies for workers on vessels and location tracking for personnel overboard. Secures the golden time for safety by propagating danger through visual/auditory alerts (vibration and pop-up).
2. Network Infrastructure
TechnologyProvides a multiplexed network combining marine-dedicated high-power LTE/5G routers, satellite internet, and VHF wireless communication.
AdvantageEnables stable data transmission even in distant seas outside the coverage of telecom base stations, and supports ultra-low latency communication between the onshore Marine Coordination Center (MCC) and the site.
Digital Process Automation
Automates the work processes of the construction site to meet global standards.
1. Smart PTW Workflow
TechnologyThe system filters and the person in charge verifies required attached documents (RAMS, certificates) according to the type of work (hot work, work at height, diving, etc.).
FlexibilityIt is the only solution that can customize the approval process with a system approval method, from global standard forms to domestic construction company forms.
2. Auto-Generated DPR
TechnologyAnalyzes personnel deployment, vessel operating distance, material consumption, and weather data collected during the day to generate a Daily Progress Report (DPR) with one click.
AdvantageReduces the report preparation time previously spent every day by the site manager. You can also download the report in an Excel format.
3. Integrated E-Induction
TechnologyEssential safety training (HSE Induction) prior to site deployment is conducted within the system. It verifies the validity of qualifications in real-time by linking with the GWO (Global Wind Organisation) certificate DB (Winda API).
AdvantageEnables safe offshore work by restricting personnel deployed to the site through validity notifications.
Digital Twin & Visualization
Intuitive visualization is the core of fast decision-making. We digitally implement all assets on the sea.
1. Multi-Layer GIS Architecture
TechnologySupports a multi-layer structure that allows you to overlay weather layers (Wind/Wave), submarine cables, and fishing ground information on the electronic navigational chart.
AdvantageBeyond simple location checking, it designates "e.g., restricted cable laying work zones when wave height is 2m or higher" in real-time and filters them visually.
2. Asset Management
TechnologyVisually implements and monitors the construction stages of the turbine (Foundation → Tower → Nacelle → Blade) and the cable installation stage. (Color coded: Ongoing/Completed/Delayed)
AdvantageConstruction information implemented through digital visualization can be checked in real-time by stakeholders accessing the system anytime, anywhere.
Scalability to O&M
Data isn't discarded when construction ends. We build a data pipeline for 25 years of operation.
1. Seamless Data Migration Pipeline
TechnologyAs-Built data (final construction coordinates, material history) accumulated during the construction phase is organized according to international standard data formats and automatically transferred to the O&M system.
AdvantageOperations and maintenance management can begin immediately after plant completion, without the need for separate data construction services.
2. Big Data Analytics for Preventive Maintenance
TechnologyBy analyzing issues and weather data generated during construction, we visualize vulnerable points expected to require frequent maintenance in the future as a heatmap.
AdvantageDrastically reduces maintenance personnel deployment costs and time by intensively managing the risk sections pointed out by the data.
